Though hollyhocks are mostly native to various parts of Asia, they can be found pretty much all across North America. They resemble a more delicate, wide rose of Sharon, only on long stems rather than organized in sprawling bushes. The perennial plants are a lovely shade of pink, though they can also be found in yellow hues as well. Though they often grow as wildflowers, hollyhocks are also often planted as pretty additions to gardens.
